Cryogenic Perlite

The unique properties of perlite have found wide acceptance in insulating of cryogenic low temperature storage tanks (up to -270 C)   due to perlite’s low thermal conductivity.

Perlite is humidity and fire resistant, durable and economic. With the help of air pressure or vacuum it can be easily filled in between the wall layers of the tanker.

It is used for following main gas types :

» liquefied natural gas  (LNG)
» liquefied petroleum gas   (LPG)
» liquefied ammonium
» liquefied oxygen
» liquefied nitrogen
» liquefied carbon gases
» liquefied methane – ethane – propane
» liquefied inert gases
» refrigerating fluids and impulse gases.
